A beta version: free to use for testing, provided as it is. Keep backups of your work and tell us what goes wrong.
The beta
This is a test version of Inqerio. Features may change, be removed or not work as expected. Access codes give testers paid features until the date on the code, free of charge.
Accounts and subscriptions
An account is optional and is for one person; keep access to the email address you sign in with. Subscriptions are paid in advance for a month or a year and renew automatically until you cancel.
Subscriptions are sold through Stripe as reseller (merchant of record), which collects the payment and any sales tax or VAT; Stripe’s terms for buyers also apply. You can cancel at any time under Your account, Manage subscription. Your plan then continues until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are given where the law requires them (including cooling-off periods in some countries), may be given by Stripe within 60 days of a purchase, and are otherwise at our discretion. Prices are shown before you pay, with taxes where they apply.
If a payment fails, the plan keeps working for a short time while Stripe tries again; after that the app returns to the free plan. Your work is never locked: everything you made stays in your folders.
Please keep your own backups of important work. Your files are ordinary files in folders you choose, so your usual backup will include them.
Using the app
You may install and use the app for your own research, teaching and study. You may not copy, sell, rent or share the app, take its code apart to remove limits, or share access codes with people they were not given to.
You keep all rights to your work. We claim no rights in anything you create with the app.
AI and analysis
AI suggestions and automated checks can be wrong. Statistical, qualitative and ethics guidance in the app is help, not professional advice or approval. You are responsible for your research, its methods and what you publish.
Other programs and services
The app works with programs and services we do not control, such as R, Python, Stata, SAS, SPSS, Microsoft Word, Ollama and literature databases. Their own licences and terms apply.
No warranty
The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, the publisher is not liable for loss of data, lost work or other damages from using it.
Changes and law
These terms may change; you will be asked to accept a new version in the app. They are governed by the laws of Ontario and of Canada that apply there.
